Hi y’all!
Allow me to introduce myself just a bit
I’m Becky! So who am I? Let’s see… a woman, a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, small business owner, professional, leader, neighbor and above all else I follow Jesus.
Home… I’ve lived in Tennessee all my life and I absolutely LOVE calling Tennessee home – a very proud Tennessee girl! Grew up in a very rural West TN community and out “in the country”. Lived in East TN for a year while in elementary school but my adult life has been in Middle TN, just south of Nashville. Middle TN is truly my home. The rolling hills, beautiful trees and all the shades of green. Plus I do enjoy the convenience of being near Target and the airport! While my family is convinced I’m a “city girl”, I have kept my country roots and the older I get the more I appreciate them. I’ve been told that once we cross the Tennessee River, the “West TN” comes out when I talk!
Our Family… Wife to the most generous & handsome man I know – Jeremy. There’s no one else I’d rather do this crazy beautiful things called life with than him. I’m mom to four children who are legally all adults. Only two still at home so life is transitioning at the moment but we love hanging out with our kids! No one really told me that adult kids can be fun – trips, church together, weekly dinners together, group chats, phone calls… all the things.
Me… me… hmmm… what about me?? For starters, I love Jesus and for me, Jesus is freedom. Best word I know how to describe it and He is the reason I’ve changed over the years but more on that in the blog posts :). Other things about me? Enjoy cooking, gardening, walking, working – Yes I’m one of those people that actually enjoys working, encouraging others, watching my hummingbirds, and so many other seemingly small moments that I cherish in my heart & make me deeply grateful and humble for the breath God has given me and this life I have that He redeemed. I am proof that God can and no one is beyond Him.
